The Intention Behind Cyberhorny: A Brief Author’s Note

Updated: Jun 11, 2023

I started developing my Cyberhorny project around a year ago because I had a lot to say about sex, cyber sex in particular. As an uncharted terrain, it’s easy to get lost in the myriad of OnlyFans advertising posts, cyber thots, horny dudes, disembodied dick picks, egirls, scammers, spammers, and many other depraved denizens of the nsfw web, both great and terrible. Many people don’t practice discernment and lump all OF girls into the same category. We seem to in many cases be punchline fodder, or memed in “made a OF when covid started” type image macros.

My intention is to create a space of true authenticity, not manufactured authenticity, in the online x-rated world. In my own ideology, the most despicable thing is inauthenticity and arbitrary money-chasing. The intersection of greed and social media does something harsh to our brains. While we need money to survive, and it is a realistic goal to strive for, the mental problems and egoic illnesses caused by an obsession with accumulating money/status are horrifying. Being commodified as an object of value is surreal, but it is a sex worker’s reality. (Arguably it is a civilian’s reality as well). We all deal with this problem in different ways. I choose to write about it, acknowledging the burnout and depression I face along the way, and take breaks when I face those physical and mental challenges. Burnout is fucking real and it is awful. Rest is not as valued in our society as it needs to be. The hustle culture needs to die.

What I intend with this project is to show the darker psychological sides of digital sex work through experiential observation, some academic studies, and multidisciplinary approach.

Originally I wanted this to be published as a book, and as time went on I made some videos on my OF talking about these topics, often in the nude or in lingerie, and I want to expand this to my YouTube channel or podcast because I want to incorporate an audio and visual component (with eventual interviews with cybersexy creators of all backgrounds who experience similar agonies and ecstasies, especially obscure/artistic creators, or even people off the grid whose story should be told). Many people send me hateful messages saying I have nothing to offer to offer to this world, I am worthless, I am useless, contributing to the defeatist thoughts I’ve already internalized in my depression. Having online haters is shitty. There are many times when I want to quit because people who don’t know me, claim to despise me and what I represent. However, I think this piece is useful to the world because the subject matter is bigger than me. I am the vessel whose experiences the topics speak through. It’s important to have a social commentary on digital transactional sex.

To be a star, you have to really take yourself apart and say "the rules don't apply to me." Objectively I, and people like me, shouldn't be able to succeed in an industry that harshly prioritizes marketing and self-promotion and self-objectification, but I want to show that there are creators out there who dissect this platform on a deeper level and can still fucking crush it. Pics of me from the first half of 2021, a year that really changed my life, and I want to do more with what I have learned.

There is no targeted audience. Cyberhorny is for everyone. Pervs who stumble upon me curiously. Academics critiquing my piece of shit writing style. Newbies to OF looking for guidance. Experienced camgirls and sex workers looking for validation that this world is psychologically challenging. Lovers of the unique and depraved. Personal fans of my niche work. I’m grateful for those of you here who appreciate the dovetailing of my art and porn in earnest
